I love the idea behind this but not sure I could ever trust it. Seems easier to me to just set an alarm for 20 minutes or whatever you know is enough time to wake up before you reach your destination.
That being said, the idea of location based reminders as you mentioned is fantastic. I would jump on board that in a second.
And what's wrong with having to get an iPhone?!?!

It's my understanding that I have to manage an iPhone with iTunes. In my opinion installing iTunes and Quicktime on my computer again would be like willingly installing viruses and malware on it. I do not hold iTunes, Quicktime or Adobe Reader in very high regard anymore.

Technology like this is one of those things that really has the potential to revolutionize the way we live. It's a total paradigm shift compared to time-based reminders. In the battle vs. time and space, I think we're making major strides. I can certainly see how this would make me more productive.
